ABOUT THE FORUM
tsiMORAY is supporting the third sector through the process of health and social care integration in Moray.

Integration of health and social care is the Scottish Government’s ambitious programme to bring together health and social care into a single, integrated system. Previously, health and social care was managed separately by NHS Boards and Local Authorities.
​
We work with key partners and the third sector to ensure the third sector is an equal partner in the delivery of integrated health and social care in Moray.
With a greater emphasis on joining up services and focussing on anticipatory and preventative care, integration aims to improve care and support for people who use services, their carers and their families.
To support this process, the Health and Wellbeing Third Sector Forum was launched so that charities, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and community groups could join together and provide a coordinated response to developments in Moray.
THE PURPOSE OF THE FORUM

To motivate, inspire, include and build trust.

To share information, experience, learning, knowledge and any other relevant resources across boundaries and between sectors.

To translate discussion into a formal action plan.

To facilitate timely, targeted and responsive communication.

To create opportunities and mechanisms for local partners to collaborate.
