Local charity, Keiran's Legacy, is hoping to raise £21k to mark what would have been Keiran McKandie's 21st birthday.
Keiran's Legacy was launched after the sudden death of Keiran McKandie in March 2016, after which it was revealed that the nearest ambulance was 38 miles away, the police responding had no equipment, the fire brigade was not called and there was a delay in bystander CPR.
The charity aims to raise £21,000 for Keiran's 21st birthday with fundraising events throughout the year culminating in an auction on his birthday which will be on the 23rd June 2020. The money will be used to provide education and emergency defibrillators to local communities.
If you would like to support the campaign, the charity would be grateful for any donation either a raffle prize or monetary donation would be invaluable to Keiran and his legacy.
