Moray Council is looking to employ two Climate Change Strategy Officers in their new climate change team to assist the council in their aim to reach net-zero by 2030. These are permanent, full time and based at the council's Headquarters in Elgin. Closing Date: 20 August 2021
Climate Change Strategy Officer (Projects) - To support the Principal Officer in the delivery, monitoring, and future reviews of the Moray Council Climate Change Strategy within agreed governance arrangements, including leading on the delivery of projects assigned to the Climate Change team and input and support for other projects across the Council and with other partners.
Salary: £36,644.40 - £40,659.45 per year
Climate Change Strategy Officer (Projects, Communications and Funding) - To support the Principal Officer in the delivery, monitoring and future reviews of the Moray Council Climate Change Strategy within agreed governance arrangements, including delivery of projects assigned to the Climate Change team and input and support for other projects across the Council and with other partners. To lead on the preparation and delivery of a Communications and Engagement Plan to raise the profile of and promote behavioural change to support the strategy's delivery.
Salary: £31,140.20 - £34,080.80 per year
