Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund - Year 2 Open for Applications

Updated: Oct 17, 2022

Over £259k is now available to local groups, projects and third sector organisations in Moray who are working to improve and promote good mental health and wellbeing in our communities.

Year 2 of the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund has two funding levels: Small grants up to £2,000 for un-constituted groups and larger grants up to £12,000 for established groups. The Fund is open to new and existing projects and is open to all groups, no matter their size.

This Fund aims to continue to support local, grassroot initiatives. Year 2 funding will seek to build on progress made, and crucially, work to ensure individuals who are marginalised and disadvantaged (and who often bear the impact of poorer mental health because of health inequities), are prioritised in Year 2 funding.

Local projects taking a proactive approach in prevention, early intervention, reducing risk factors and inequalities are encouraged to apply. Those seeking a larger grant are also encouraged to demonstrate partnership working within their communities.
