Applications for Year Three of the Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund are now open.
The Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund was originally announced by Kevin Stewart, Minister for Mental Wellbeing and Social Care in October 2021 in response to the mental health need arising from the pandemic.
Building on the success of years 1 and 2, and the focus on wellbeing and prevention in the Transition and Recovery Plan, a further £15 Million for Year 3 of the Fund was announced in April 2023. The Fund provides significant investment into community support for adults.
The Fund is being delivered through a locally focused and co-ordinated approach via local partnership groups with TSI’s (Third Sector Interfaces) as lead partner.
In Year 1 of the fund, tsiMORAY distributed £257,000 to 40 groups/organisations across Moray. In Year 2, £259,460 was awarded to 33 groups and organisations. tsiMORAY is delighted to manage the distribution of the fund once again in Year 3, with a total sum of £256,030 available to distribute to support local grassroots community activity in meeting the aims of the Fund.
