In December 2019, the new 10 year strategy for Health and Care in Moray, ‘Partners in Care’ was launched by Moray Integration Joint Board.
At a meeting of the Strategic Planning and Commissioning Group following this launch, group members agreed to the proposal for the establishment of 6 Transformation Boards to take forward the Transformation Plan, which describes how Transformation through Partners in Care will be delivered. It was agreed at this meeting that Elidh Brown, tsiMORAY and Iain McDonald, Health and Social Care Moray, will co-chair the Health and Wellbeing Transformation Board.
‘Partners in Care’ reflects the vital role that people, communities and the wider third sector play in contributing to positive health and wellbeing outcomes in Moray across all three key themes: Building Resilience, Home First and Choice and Control.
All stakeholders with an active interest are invited to take part in the next meeting of the Health and Wellbeing Forum to shape the Health and Wellbeing Transformation Board,
The main theme for this meeting, which will take the form of a 2-hour workshop, is shaping the terms of reference for the establishment of the Health and Transformation Board, within the context of the Integration of Health and Social Care.
It is the intention that each Transformation Board will be operational in April 2020.
We hope as many people as possible from Moray’s third sector, including community groups, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and local and nation third sector providers can take part as possible.
The meeting takes place on Tuesday 18th February from 2 to 4pm at The Inkwell, Frances Place, Elgin.
