When Keith and Strathisla Community larder launched in July 2020, we expected to be operating for just a couple of months.
But we have been providing a weekly drop-in throughout the pandemic – and will continue to do so as long as there is a need.

The larder is run by a superb team of volunteers who provide a friendly welcome and a listening ear.
It’s a free non-judgmental drop-in that’s open to anyone. Some are guided to the larder through the schools, or by social work and health visitor teams. Others have come via REAP Scotland or the local churches.
Moray Food Plus provide stock and have been a guiding light to the organising committee which includes representatives of Keith and Strathisla Community Councils and The Loft Youth Project. The local business community has also rallied round and gifted stock.
Numbers using the service are relatively low, but we are pleased to be able to provide a safety net in these challenging times.
Find us at The Longmore Community Hall on Wednesdays from 1-2 pm.
