Moray Firth Coastal Partnership is an independent charity in promoting and facilitating sustainable solutions to the marine and coastal challenges faced by the Moray Firth and its communities.
As a result of a successful grant funding application to the Highland Coastal Communities Fund – Strategic Fund, they are looking for candidates for the following roles:
Marine Conservation and Engagement Co-ordinator
Funding and Projects Manager
Marine Conservation and Engagement Co-ordinator
35 hrs per week | Up to £28,000 per annum | Home Based | 24 month fixed contract
The successful candidate will work alongside the MFCP Partnership Manager and the MFCP Board of Trustees to administer and organise a programme of marine education events and activities, including beach cleaning events, as part of the delivery of MFCP’s ‘Our Firth, Our Seashore’ project. You will be responsible for promoting MFCP and its work through traditional and digital platforms to improve understanding, engagement and appropriate management of the marine environment.
Funding and Projects Manager
20-35 hrs per week | Up to £30,000 per annum | Home based | 18 month fixed contract
The Funding and Projects Manager will maintain existing core funding levels, apply for new grant funding opportunities and establish a MFCP corporate sponsorship scheme as well as manage project budgets, including the ‘Our Firth, Our Seashore’ project budget. This is a marine education and beach cleaning initiative that requires budgetary overview, as well as processing claims to the grant funding body.
