Transition Fund for Voluntary Organisations

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Chamber Music Scotland has released a new funding opportunity for third sector organisations. The Transition Fund aims to encourage organisations to explore and develop new ways to reach audiences, support musicians, present activity, and engage with their communities.

The fund has three main priorities:

  • To support community organisations in developing new ways of working and delivering chamber music content;

  • To ensure support reaches musicians during this time of great financial difficulty;

  • To encourage community organisations to develop new partnerships within their communities.

They are particularly interested in applications from organisations located in parts of Scotland that don't currently have easy access to classical/chamber music activities. Your organisation does not necessarily need to have previous experience presenting music activity, as long as your idea fits the fund criteria.
